Bio

Molly Jones is a saxophonist, composer, and data engineer splitting her time between Chicago, IL and Ann Arbor, MI.  She creates multidisciplinary work influenced by her experiences of free jazz, new music, Balkan brass, and sound collage.  She trains ML models, builds instruments, and collects data. Her work originates in a place of playfulness, listening, and attention.  She is currently completing a PhD in machine learning for creative audio applications at the University of Michigan.
